WHY RECOMMEND THE USE OF REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER?

Osmosis is a natural process. When two liquids of different concentrations are separated by a semi-permeable membrane, pure water passes through the membrane from the least concentrated liquid to the most concentrated liquid, to balance the “osmotic’ pressure of the two solutions. If mechanical pressure higher than the osmotic pressure is applied to the most concentrated solution, the phenomenon by which pure water passes through the membrane is reversed. The result is the production of pure water. This is the reverse osmosis process.
